Dutch Antilles part 1

As always the preparations cost a lot of time, but now it's time to train again. Tommorrow I will fly to Curacao. I will stay there for 9 days to train and see my old friends again.


After those 9 days I will go to bonaire for another 3 weeks. Hopefully the wind conditions will be good, so I can post a lot of nice pictures.

New Sponsor

For 2010 I will not sail with AHD anymore. From now you'll see me on F2. I just picked up one of the Rodeo prototypes 107L. This one I will use during my trip to the Dutch Antilles. Back in Holland I will going to use the Rodeo 98L. Check out the board I will use.

I will go to Bonaire the 1st of march so I will post a lot of pictures of my trip in the upcoming weeks.

Action

Well the title says action, there wasn't that much action. It was two whole months ago when I last hit the water. After two months of no surfing you get pretty out of shape. I became tired pretty fast and the gloves were also difficult to get used to (let's say, you don't get used to gloves). Alltough I hit the water and surfed again. Hopefully this will be the first of a lot more sessions in 2010.
This was the first and eventough I didn't sail really good, it was fun.

Wind

Yes, finally. There is some wind today. The sky is grey, the temperature is around 0 degrees, but my heart is beating if it were carnaval in Rio. Untill now it still rains a litle bit, so hopefully it will stop when we want to make some pictures. So hopefully I have some stuff to show you tonight.
